How To Apply:
Both parties need to be present to apply for the license, photo ID and Social Security number. If you have been married before, you will need to show a certified copy of the final divorce decree, with court raised seal, of your divorce or annulment decree or know the date of death of a deceased spouse.
Name Change:
Filing for a marriage license in the state of Pennsylvania does not cause your or your spouse’s last name to automatically change. Married name change services are available to guide you through the married name change process if you opt to change your name.
