What do I need to bring?

Both parties need to be present with a valid picture identification and Social Security number. If you have been married before, you will need to to show a certified copy of the final divorce decree, with court raised seal, of your divorce or annulment decree or know the date of death of a deceased spouse.

How To Apply:

Both applicants must appear in person together with government issued photo identification and Social Security number. If either applicant was married previously, a certified copy of divorce/death decree will be required.

Name Change:
Filing for a marriage license in the state of Pennsylvania does not cause your or your spouse’s last name to automatically change. Married name change services are available to guide you through the married name change process if you opt to change your name.
