$50.00 Cash Only.



What do I need to bring?

Parents full names, including mother’s maiden names,the state where your parents were born, the city and state where your parents are living currently. If you or your fiancé have been previously married, we need to know the month and year, county and state where the marriage ended, whether by divorce or by death.



How To Apply:

Both the bride and groom or parties must be present to apply, and you must be at least 18 years old. You will be asked a series of questions and will sign an application.



When does It Expire:

The license is valid for 60 days after the effective date.


Name Change:
Filing for a marriage license in the state of Illinois does not cause your or your spouse’s last name to automatically change. Married name change services are available to guide you through the married name change process if you opt to change your name.
