What do I need to bring?
Applicants must provide government issued document to show proof of residency in Burnett County, certified birth certificate, and Social Security numbers. If either applicant was previously married, spouse death certificate or a Court stamped and signed copy of the divorce decree (Judgment of Divorce) or annulment.
How To Apply:
One of the applicants must have resided in Burnett County for at least 30 days in order to apply for marriage license. Both applicants are required to provide a government issued ID, Social Security numbers, and a certified copy of Birth Certificate. If either applicant was previously married, a death certificate or Court stamped and signed copy of the divorce decree or annulment.
When does It Expire:
The marriage license is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Counting starts on the day after issuance and ends on day 30.
