How To Apply:

Both applicants must be 18 years old or older. Application document must be completed by the couple and an oath is issued.

When does It Expire:

The license becomes effective on the 3rd day from the date of issuance and is valid for 60 days.

Name Change:
Filing for a marriage license in the state of Oregon does not cause your or your spouse’s last name to automatically change. Married name change services are available to guide you through the married name change process if you opt to change your name.
