How To Apply:

Both must appear in person at the Municipal Registrar's Office in the municipality where either the bride or groom resides. Must bring valid photo ID, $28.00, completed application without it being signed (will sign under oath), social security card or number, proof of residency and an eye witness, 18 years or older.



Name Change:
Filing for a marriage license in the state of New Jersey does not cause your or your spouse’s last name to automatically change. Married name change services are available to guide you through the married name change process if you opt to change your name.
