How To Apply:
Both applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Both applicants must come in to the office to fill out the marriage license application. Effective December 8, 2008, any individuals making an application for a marriage license in the County of Logan must provide identification with the name and date of birth of the applicant.
When does It Expire:
License is valid for sixty (60) days only in the county in which it was issued.
Name Change:
Filing for a marriage license in the state of Illinois does not cause your or your spouse’s last name to automatically change. Married name change services are available to guide you through the married name change process if you opt to change your name.
