Arizona makes it easy to apply for a marriage license. Not only is there NO waiting period, your license is valid for 12 months! The 12 month period starts the day your marriage license is issued. Since your marriage license is issued the same day as it is applied for, the County Clerk’s office asks that you arrive at their office 30 minutes before their closing time.  Also, one more perk: you can apply for a marriage license anywhere in the state of Arizona and use it in any county in the state.
